Nine to five sorted. The rest is yours.

For the business owner who is brilliant at what they do and buried in everything else.

You didn't build your business to spend your days buried in admin.

Your inbox is out of control. Your calendar is a battlefield. Client follow-ups are slipping. Documents need doing, and somewhere in the middle of it all, you’re supposed to be delivering the brilliant, focused work that made you go into business in the first place.

It’s not a capacity problem. It’s a structural one.

CBS is built for a specific kind of business owner.

You’ve built something real. Your business runs on your expertise, your relationships, and your reputation. But the operational load; the emails, the scheduling, the correspondence, the coordination, has quietly become your second job.

CBS is right for you if:

  • You’re running an established business and your time is your most valuable and most wasted asset
  • You’ve tried administrative help before and spent more time managing the person than the work
  • You need someone who operates at your level, not someone you need to train from scratch
  • You want consistency, not a revolving door, a support partner who knows your business and stays

If you’re nodding at this list, keep reading.

This is where Coastal Business Support comes in.

We work alongside established business owners as dedicated Business Support Partners. Not virtual assistants, not temps, not a hire you have to babysit. We’re skilled operators who learn your business, anticipate your needs, and keep everything moving so you can focus on what actually grows it.

Every engagement is retainer-based and relationship-first. That means consistency, confidentiality, and a partner who knows your standards and protects them — not just completing tasks, but staying ahead of what’s coming so nothing falls through.

We don’t just keep up with your business. We keep ahead of it.

Simple to start. Built to last.

Step 1 — Start the conversation

Tell us a little about your business using our short enquiry form. We’ll send you a few questions to help us understand where you’re at.

Step 2 — Discovery Call

Tell us where you’re at, what’s overwhelming you, and what good looks like for you. We’ll ask the right questions and tell you honestly whether CBS is the right fit. No pressure, no pitch.

Step 3 — Onboarding

We get into your world quickly. Systems, processes, preferences, priorities. We learn how you work and adapt to it, not the other way around. Most clients feel the difference within the first few weeks.

Step 4 — Ongoing Support

Consistent, proactive support that evolves as your business does. We’re not just responding to what comes in, we’re anticipating what’s next and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

About Adrienne.

I’m Adrienne Smith, founder of Coastal Business Support.

For over two decades I worked at senior levels in large, complex businesses — most recently as Senior Executive Assistant to a Global Chief People and Culture Officer, supporting a leadership team across a 750-person international organisation. Beyond the diary and the inbox, I was keeping leadership priorities moving, tracking goals, managing cross-functional follow-through, and making sure nothing fell through.

I started CBS because I kept seeing the same pattern. Brilliant, capable business owners spending their best hours on work that wasn’t theirs to do. Administration, coordination, correspondence, systems. The stuff that keeps a business running but keeps its owner from leading it.

That’s exactly the kind of work I’m built for. CBS takes it off your plate.

Common questions.

Is CBS based in Port Macquarie? Can you work with businesses elsewhere on the East Coast?

CBS is based in Port Macquarie, NSW, and works with business owners across Australia’s East Coast. The majority of our support is delivered remotely, which means geography rarely gets in the way of a great working relationship.

What makes CBS different from hiring a VA?

A virtual assistant typically handles specific task-based requests — you assign work, they complete it. CBS works differently. We learn your business, work proactively, and make decisions within agreed parameters without needing to be directed at every step. The difference is between someone who waits to be told and someone who already knows what needs doing.

What does onboarding look like?

After your Discovery Call, we move into a structured onboarding process. We learn your systems, your preferences, your key relationships, and your priorities. Most clients are operating smoothly within the first two to three weeks.

Is there a minimum commitment period?

CBS engagements are retainer-based. Minimum terms are outlined in your Service Agreement and discussed openly during the Discovery Call. We want the engagement to work well for both parties from the start.

Can I change my tier as my needs evolve?

Yes. Your support needs will likely change as your business does. Tier changes can be discussed at any time, raise it directly and we’ll work out what makes sense.

Ready to get your time back?

Tell us a little about your business and what you’re looking for. We’ll take it from there.
